Do not use paint with silicone based repellants in them which are designed to not let things stick to them (dust, dirt, debris, etc.) and resist stains, it will also not allow the vinyl to stick.
For Example do not use: “Behr Ultra Stain-Blocking Paint and Primer in one” or Valspar Signature superior Paint and Primer – please avoid.
In general a cheap oil based paint is best, vs a more expensive latex paint.

Game On Grafix does the best printing for arcade cabinets out of anyone I’ve ever used. He’s also accessible and easy to talk to. I’ve worked with quite a few others, but his quality is much better, sometimes indistinguishable from NOS art. This VF2 side art was custom made by me, so I had a few instructions. I called him up and discussed the recommendations and he knew what to do. The side art is on my cabinet now and looks about as close to the NOS art as you can possibly get. Very good quality print.
